Hannah O’Donnell received degrees in music from the University of Prince Edward Island and Memorial University of Newfoundland. She works as a soloist in the classical genre with ensembles across the country and has performed opera internationally.

In addition to her work in the classical genre, O’Donnell is a passionate performer of many styles of music. She has performed as a bassist with local jazz ensembles and multiple seasons of the Charlottetown Festival. A Music PEI award-winner herself, many of the albums to her credit have won Music PEI Awards, East Coast Music Association awards, and Juno nominations. She has had the privilege to perform for many members of the Royal Family.

Hannah is a member of the music faculty at the Holland College School of Performing Arts where she teaches music history, ear training, improvisation, and Jazz and Latin ensembles.
